Suitable environment for tents
Field construction operations, camping training, temporary clubs, sports and entertainment venues and military command posts, field hospitals, disaster relief, camping, leisure, tourism, etc.
Fabrics: mostly polyester-spun fabrics. The market is generally 210T polyester spinning and 190T polyester spinning. The quality is based on its thickness and warp and weft density. The technical specifications of waterproof fabrics are based on the degree of waterproofing. There are also manufacturers to enhance the appearance, feel, coated with silica gel outside the tents, it looks like a translucent feeling, more importantly, such tents will be lighter.
Waterproof is only applied AC or PU. Usually only used for children or games. Waterproof 300MM is generally used for beach accounts/shade accounts or cotton cloths for drought and rain. 800MM-1200MM is used for regular simple camping tents. Waterproof 1500MM-2000MM is used to compare mid-range tents. It is the first choice for many days of travel. Waterproof 3000MM or above is generally a professional tent, which has been treated with high temperature/cold resistance.
Bottom material: PE is generally the most common, and its quality depends mainly on its thickness and warp and weft density. It is better to use high-grade oxford fabrics, and the waterproof treatment should be at least 1500MM.
The inner fabric is generally breathable nylon or breathable cotton. Quality depends mainly on its density.
The rainproof performance of the outer tent fabric, this indicator is still calculated by how many mm of water column per square centimeter.
The general tents are rainproof above 1500mm water column, which can prevent moderate to heavy rain; individual reaches 3000-4000mm, which can prevent continuous heavy rain.
The high-quality rain-proof tarpaulin not only has high rainproof index, but also has a wide adhesive strip at the joint of the awning to prevent water from seeping at the seam.
Although the outer tent has a high rainproof index, ventilation is a problem. Even if there is no rain and clear night, afterwards, the inside of the tent will be covered with water droplets, especially on the wet ground such as grass. If you accumulate more, you will also drop into the internal account. Relatively speaking, the external accounts with low rain-proof indicators have less water in the inner area than rain-proof.
